This year, we’re launching Access Action Week, a nationwide campaign inviting climbers across Aotearoa to come together to raise awareness and support climbing access. Our goal: share significant stories and add 80 new regular donors to the ACAT team in 7 days. #80foraccess.

Why get involved?
ACAT exists for the climbing community. We’re more than a Trust, we’re the supportive infrastructure that helps climbers, landowners, iwi, and partners work together to keep climbing access thriving across Aotearoa.
Behind every access story is a community that cared enough to act. ACAT provides the tools, expertise, and coordination to turn that care into long-term solutions.
By joining this campaign, you’ll help ACAT:
- Educate and create awareness
- Build strong partnerships with landowners, iwi, and DOC
- Secure and sustain long-term access agreements
- Support crag care, safety projects, and stewardship
- Give climbers a voice in legal and policy decisions

- All supporters who start a monthly or yearly donation during the campaign (1-7 September) will be entered into our prize draws, with some great gear up for grabs.
- Existing monthly or annual donors will also be celebrated with their own prize draws, our way of saying thank you.
